I had my mailbox run over the other day and without continous recording it was outside my motion zone so I missed it. with this same amount of alerts but catch everything in view. Other reasons are to monitor during cooldown. Also say someone has been driving around casing your place or they drive by and park their car before putting a mask on and approaching.

This doorbell was actually on sale a couple of days ago for $180 at BestBuy (maybe to compete with Prime Day), so that's at least a price we'll likely see again.

As someone else posted, I don't get the benefit of 24/7 recording, it's not like anyone is going to scan through 5 days' worth of video every 5 days...

I have a laview door bell. It records 24/7 to an SD card and it has event notification and you can go to those event from the continuous recording. Or this one have 24/7 recording on cloud without subscription?

This one was $179 few days ago.
And since model is exclusive to Best buy I don't think you can price match.

The 2c 2k was originally bestbuy only then went to Amazon after a couple weeks which is where I bought mine.
