FYI....Respawns' site has this for $104....will come out to about $94 after 10% off code "SUPER10" (code works on anything). I believe shipping is free.
Edit: occurred to me that Walmart's return policy/ease is better though, so might be worth the extra 6$ for some. (At least it would be for me).

How good is this chair actually? I'm looking for one that doesn't hurt my back. Any recommendations?

"Ergonomic"- yeah right all these "racing/gaming" chairs are about as ergonomic as sleeping on concrete.

Get literally anything else (except maybe those cheap task chairs)

Just for information seriously looking at this chair - this is chair is made my OFM, which is a home furniture company owned by HNI, a much larger furniture company that makes furniture from the home to major contract office furniture (government, financial, higher education). This includes all major court houses, House of Representatives, White House, Facebook, Google, Twitter, Harvard. You get the picture. It's not a cheaply made chair and more ergonomic than you may think. It is better than most of cheap game chairs out there. Yes I work for an HNI company, but not OFM. Just providing some info for you.

I have a Respawn chair. Its the red and black version. I'm like 6' 2 and 173lbs. After sitting in the chair for and hour it will hurt your ass. Not worth it.

These basic chairs are all made at the same factory in China. Exact same one was on sale at Staples last year for $99 and you could stack $25 off coupons.

I snagged two and kids say they are horribly uncomfortable. These are worth about $50!

Dang, bro. Maybe it's because you don't have any meat on your bones to cushion your ass from your bones. 6'2" 173lbs?!?! Get this guy a cheeseburger.

Cool story. These chairs suck and hurt your back.

Bro I eat all the time 😂. I'm just saying the padding isn't there. I have bought a cheaper chair that was better than this one. They didn't do a good job on the ass part. When you put it together you can tell. The arm rests are amazing and the back support isn't bad. I wish the pillow was a little thicker for the lower back.

I got one when it was on sale last time (Newegg I think). My 11 year old loves it. Definitely better than the ikea one it replaced. Wheels are smooth, construction of the frame seems decent. My kid is in this chair for 8-10 hours or so a day (school plus games) and said it's "so much better than that cheap IKEA chair".

Is it great for a full grown (plus size) adult? For an hour or two, it's meh. It's comfortable enough. I like that the arm rest goes up so I can sit with my legs crossed under me. It can definitely use more padding in the seat area.

Edited to add- it was $90 on Newegg a month or so ago.
