LG Employee price is 3k on this 77" CX Unit, so it's getting super close to that kind of a deal.
Look at new content being released on UHD/Blu Ray/streaming. Any new major release movies come out with 3D? That should answer your question.
Why would TV manufacturers implement 3D when no new content is being released in 3D?
3D was a fad IMO and I don't think most people took to it like the industry hoped they would.
