From the 65" product page (should be the same for the 77" page):

Receive a $100 Hulu credit with the purchase of this LG OLED65CXAUA 65" 4K OLED TV. After purchasing and receiving your TV, please visit www.getbonusrewards.com and enter applicable information to receive your code. Limit 1 code per eligible LG TV purchase. Code must be redeemed by 12/31/21.

$100 BUNDLE SAVINGS WITH PURCHASE OF LG OLED TV AND ALLSTATE PROTECTION PLAN. Purchase 3 Year Allstate Protection Plan [costco.com] ($99.99) and OLED TV, Receive $100 Off Total Purchase. Protection Plan will automatically be added to cart.

Note that the Allstate Protection Plan kicks in after the 2 year manufacturer warranty. The Allstate Protection Plan is exclusive to Costco members, per the link below. As the Allstate Protection Plan acts as extended coverage of the manufacturer warranty, It does not cover burn-in / image retention.

Either for poor people in servants corner or rich people to add to their 3rd spare bathroom while their guests take a massive dump

What's the difference between the square trade warranty and the Allstate warranty?
I believe Allstate bought square trade, so they should be the same.

I have a delivery and wall mount install scheduled for 11/14 from BB on the 65 GX.

Tell him to stop watching Fox News all day.

Hoping the 77 gets close to $3k over BF.

That's why you have the warranty. My 2 year old sprayed something on one of my TVs and BB replaced it. Even sent someone out to look at it and go "Yep, you need a new one"
You have no idea what he/she sprayed?

This may not be a better deal compared with urlhasbeenblocked. Costco charges tax which might make it more expensive.

That warranty helps though you get one FREE screen replacement from LG if you have burn-in issues.

We should be able to watch whatever we want all day without fear it will ruin the tv. Last I checked CNN and others have banners at the bottom.

I was joking but if your dad happened to watch just anything besides one channel for even a few minutes, there would be no burn in and there has been tests on rtings.com that only showed burn in after a whole year of a static image.

It was Fox News! His TV is forever branded sadly. He doesn't watch the news all day on the tv anymore. I'd he would have known he would've used a cheaper or LCD tv. Too bad bc it's the 2016 E 6 with passive 3D. Best I've seen.

Just to make you folks aware if you don't already know.

LG Employee price is 3k on this 77" CX Unit, so it's getting super close to that kind of a deal.

[Just My Opinion, Do not take as 100% certainty. I own a 3D TV and 3D blu ray discs and would love to see more 3D become available]

Look at new content being released on UHD/Blu Ray/streaming. Any new major release movies come out with 3D? That should answer your question.

Why would TV manufacturers implement 3D when no new content is being released in 3D?

3D was a fad IMO and I don't think most people took to it like the industry hoped they would.
I agree, I have a 3D tv in my spare room that got moved when I bought a new one. I loved 3D but most people I knew that came over to watch a 3D movie said it gave them motion sickness or headache or they didn't like wearing the glasses. I don't see it coming back in its current form. Maybe if there's new technology that comes out it might become a fad again or stick around if it's good enough... But I doubt it will come back any time soon. They're always trying to think up new ways to sell more tvs, like curved panels, so maybe someday.

My b7 got horrible burn in over the summer after all these years of no issues. Now I won't get OLED unless a warranty covers burn in
Have you tried contacting LG? They have been replacing burned in panels for a lot of people. The unofficial burn-in policy is 1 complementary panel replacement for up to 4 years if you're the original owner.
