Is this gsync compatible like the 48in?
Yeah, only thing it's missing is ATSC 3.0. The GX has the good processor, gsync, and ATSC 3.0 in case you wondered. BX, CX, GX all have gsync and HDMI 2.1 at least.

$1350 at Costco starting the 28th
Will that be in store or just online? Or both?

Target has it for $1499 but they have that 10 percent electronics coupon which drops it by another $150... then stack it with 5% red card discount....

I also stacked a anniversary discount and birthday discount applied as well so this tv is showing $1096.53 before tax.

So if you have any addition discounts from target I would say target is the way to go....
How are you applying those? The birthday and electronic codes specifically disallow LG OLED.

I tested all of my discounts on different products for a few weeks now trying to get the max discount possible and stumbled on this.

The discounts also works on Playstation 5 preorder, Xbox preorder, and the new Occulus.

Even though it says it's not allowed... it works... why i don't know. Other TVs i tried did not apply with the exception of the Red card 5%. In addition, I could not get any Apples products do not apply with this coupon stack.

Isn't this the usual price? Been in market for the LG CX vs Samsung qt90 for a while, and check regularly. Its always $1499 at BB and Amazon.
I wish Samsung 90t would drop in price comparably

Well that's great you were able to, good score! Mine aren't applying on mobile app, desktop, etc. Guess I'll wait for the Costco deal

Don't buy this TV. If you do, you'll hate all your non-OLED TVs. I have a newer Samsung in my bedroom that I used to love, but now all I notice are the nasty grayish blacks. And if I hook my xbox to non-OLED, my gawd, it looks amazingly grainy and horrible.
Thanks for this comment. I had B8 for a year and a half and thought I would save and go with non-OLED for the other room, but had exactly same reservations, so I just bought Sony OLED at the end.

elitewillieI don't want to take my chances. I have a 55 CX and got the geek squad 5 year warranty for that. It's mostly a peace of mind thing. To each their own though. My point was to highlight that the Costco warranty doesn't cover burn in so people can make an informed decision. I really hope best buy matches so I can buy there. I love my 55 CX and nothing comes close to it in picture quality
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the BBY burn-in warranty is only through the optional Geek Squad policy that costs extra, approximately $300 extra, i.e. an extra 20%. Costco's extended warranty is a free (sunk membership cost aside) perk.

I believe that's correct. I hear Costco's return policy is awesome, but I also got the geek squad 5 year warranty with this tv because that is the only one that covers burn in. (It's a much lesser issue now on these newer TVs but peace of mind is worth it for me).

FYI if anyone's unsure this tv is amazing. It is definitely the best tv I ever owned. It's so thin though I was scared setting it up. Lol

A8H has better picture quality and it was 50 bucks cheaper. A8H is good for gaming too. No 2.1 features but by the time you will get to use those features fully. There will be so many other TVs available.
I just ordered the 55CX

cant find a link to model you mentioned

It looks like i go thru these quickly with tivo and freeze frame

a 2020 CPU should be better than a 2017 or 2016 e9?

how does GX compare to CX? its 400 more

I actually use this to remaster video for youtube

I missed that sale last week and was going to grab the LG CX55 at costco next week. Anybody else want to comment on the A8H having a better picture? I'm wondering if I should wait for the A8H to go back on sale

Don't play Fox News on a loop and burn in won't be an issue. I've had a 1st gen OLED since 2015 and not one pixel has it.

I don't know if I trust that pixel shifting stuff. You're right though. Shouldn't be a problem unless you watch the same static image for 10+ hours
