This is basically GTA for kids. It offers free roam in a huge city with lots of different missions and fun puzzles to solve. My kid is almost 4 and loves playing this game. It's 2 player so my wife and/or I can easily jump in and help him out as well. They recently beat the main story line, but they're only at 40% completion. We're currently replaying it with all of the different characters, vehicles, and abilities unlocked and it's still tons of fun. It's a no brainer at this price.

I was going to purchase the Marvel Lego game, but in looking it up I found that there seems to be a bug that prevents the game from saving sporadically. Does anybody know if that issue has been resolved? If so would anybody recommend this game? It'd be for my 6 year old son so I don't want him to have to deal with game save issues. Thanks!

I hope this helps, but it probably won't. My 6 year old LOVES lego switch games, and lego marvel super heroes 2 is BY FAR his favorite. However, the issue you are talking about 100% exists, as we have had to play certain levels over again as they didn't save correctly, and this was recently, as least during the pandemic.....

Asking for my 10yo is it worth it? He has played a few of the Lego super hero games. Likes them okay. Is this like FPS? Or just Lego style puzzle levels?

Unfortunately it is true. My 5 year old plays lego marvel and harry potter and has had to play levels over and over due to the save issue :/

Thanks OP. Good game. My kids really enjoyed playing it.

A few other LEGO Switch games are on sale and were mentioned in this other thread as well if anyone is interested.

No... you need a Nintendo account linked to a Switch. I wouldn't sweat it these seem to go on sale every 1-2 months.

This is grand theft auto lego version. Its as fun as it sounds and one of the best lego games ever made. Cant speak to the switch version as I dont have one, but its one of my top 10 favorites on ps4.

My son and I LOVE this game! He is 6 and has autism and my husband and I play with him. His favorite is to ram into us with his car. LOL

Played this when it only available for the WiiU. Loved it. It's open world with "points" to go to to start missions and progress in the story, but you could spend hours running and driving around without doing the story.
Highly recommend, especially for $9. I got a copy for $40 and again for switch for another $40, so it's definitely a good game.
