$899.99, down from $1,099.99. Not quite as good of a deal as a couple weeks back, but still seems good.

Best Buy return policy good through Jan 16, 2021

Even better pricing if you can do open box.

First time poster, be gentle.... Smilie

I also found this on their website which I believe is what the laptop actually uses.
I wish Asus would list the screen brightness on their specs page. Its a pretty important number, and almost all of the big laptop makers (except lenovo, dell with their xps line, and hp with certain laptops) make it almost impossible to find

Normally I would vote this deal up and worth posting but it was $100 cheaper a week ago.

I've been pretty interested in this or the 2060 model that everyone and their mother rant and rave about, but after seeing it in the store next to several other gaming laptops, I decided against them because the poor looking display. If you're interested in these, then go for it and take advantage of the extended return policy to make sure you actually like it.

Memory upgradable? And what's the spec on screen. Nits and Srgb if anyone knows.
Has one open slot for RAM which can accept up to 32 GB.

I get excited seeing good deal on Ryzen 7 laptops but then I remember that I need 2 in 1 laptop.
Same here, finding one with ryzen with a good screw. Is hopeless. This best I've seen is the hp spectre. It's 1400 with the 11th gen core i7 and oled

This or lg ultra for $100 more? Completely different processor, but same graphics card. LG is significantly larger but only 0.7 lbs heavier

Anyone know about the durability of the rubberized costing on the palm rest? Will it start wearing away and look bad? I read before about this but not sure if it's a common problem.

Amazing ! Keep doing the exact same thing! I don't "need" a 2 in 1 but it is a feature that is important in my buying process

That and the 8gb soldered ram are the worst things about this laptop. I have a differently-spec'd model (2060) and it's a great all-around laptop.

2060 is going to be better for gaming. I like the near thin and light package with the G14, compared to the more gamer focus design of the TUF.
I've also seen that the thermal design of the TUF line hinders the actual performance. I think LTT did a video on it. The Zephyrus line has a better design from that aspect.

I'd stay away from Asus laptops because of their awful thermals in general.
If ASUS is known for poor thermals, This laptop is definitely the exception. Probably 15 degrees cooler than any other line up. It has superior thermals even under load never runs over 90 heavy gaming for me. Edit: 2060 model
