Have some rechargable AA from this brand. Not reliable and doesn't last. A few just swell and got really hot when charged.
My boombox is gonna love these
I bought EBL brand before (9v, AA and AAA) several times. After 2-3 years of combined use I do not like them. No way near Eneloop for both capacity (i.e. runtime) and shelf life (keeping the charge). Often times EBL discharge to the point there is no voltage left at all, so LaCrosse BC-900 charger cannot even kick in. I have to use the jumper trick (shorting a dead battery and a good one) to even start the charging process. I am tossing more of them and will never buy EBL again.

I probably didn't frame the title properly to set off people's alerts.

i would change it to "NiMH" and that might do it. I'm also surprised there isn't more activity on this. But D batteries are used much less now than 30 years ago. I use in my auto-opening garbage can, and the LSD rechargables last basically a year. At this price I couldn't pass it up even though I don't really need another set.

I have a ton of these for lanterns. They live in my hurricane box, start of season everything gets charged and then anytime a storm is headed my way I charge again. I also have the AA to D adapters but the rechargeable D cells obviously have better runtime. Grabbed a pack of the C cells for a few other devices, good price.

I bought D sized spacers and use Eneloop AA's in them. Not nearly as much power, but cheaper and easier to deal with (and you won't need a custom size charger like you will need to fit these big D cells).

Actually threw them into my ancient 80's boom box and they lasted a weekend of 80's party time down at the river. I used a cassette to 1/8 adapter to hook up to my phone. My J Geils Band tape in there got kinda old, had to mix it up a little Smilie

Might have been a deal if it is years ago. I'd rather use my eneloop AA to D adapters if I really need them.

The 9V is pretty good too. I think I'm going to drop almost 100 on batteries today...

Lowest on their 9V since 2015 per ccc

At this point, I'm in the same boat. I purchased so many of the Eneloop combo sets at Costco that I have quite a few D and C adapters now.

For $3 more you could try these - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T6FBWZF/

Better reviews and there is a 10% off coupon but never heard of this brand.
