Starting Nov 20 - Garmin fenix 5 Plus Multisport GPS Watch $329 @ Sam's Club

Commencing November 20, Sam's Club will be offering the Garmin Fenix 5 Plus Smartwatch for $329. On-line and In-Club (where available). Limit 2. Free shipping for Plus members, nominal shipping for regular members. I believe this would be an all time low price for this watch, although they have introduced a newer higher price point model.

To address the inevitable...
Yes the site shows as out of stock now...but it does appear in their upcoming holiday catalog with a sale start date of November 20.
Most likely non-members can purchase with a trial membership (free) or with a small surcharge.

Gotta get sapphire. Just a heads up if you do a lot of intense outdoor activities.

Somewhat related. Bought fenix 5 plus sapphire from a refurb shop a few months ago and it's turned out to be a great purchase in the features of the watch and the transaction from the reseller.

I've had a 3HR for almost 4 yrs, and the sapphire lens doesn't have a scratch, and I'm hard on watches, it's on all the time when I'm doing other things like carpentry.

Bought the 5X plus as a prime deal, upgrade from 245 music.
It is very uncomfortable on my wrist, very noticeable shaking mass when riding a trail. (Haven't been on a run yet)
I'm 6'4" and 215, so I'm not little.

Topo maps and barometer may not be reason enough to keep it.

I've had a Vivoactive 3 for 3 years now without Sapphire and haven't had a problem. I keep it on all the time: Running, Biking, Hiking, Woodworking (non-power tools), and Yard work and have yet to scratch the actual screen area. Th bezel has got kind of beat up but not the screen.

I wish I was as fortunate. The first watch they sent me had a non-functioning altimeter. Web support was awful. Put me on "hold" for 10-15 minutes right after the chat started each of the three times I started a chat. I requested a return label each time, and never got emails, had to just circle back around on my own to ask again. Never got one through web chat, only after I called and spoke to someone was I sent one. The replacement I got had a faulty heart rate monitor. Sent it back for refund that time. Wish it worked out for me, that was a great deal.

Damn I got the $399 5X Plus from Amazon. But for $329, I would have been willing to compromise. I'm sure I'll be happy with the 5X though...

Don't know, it's tough to swallow $80 more for no Sapphire, refurbished or not.

Think I'll stick with my Forerunner 745xt for a while.

You can also pick up tempered glass screen savers as well as a cheaper alternative. I did that for my 6X pro and haven't had any issues

Love my 5+ sapphire I purchase refurbished a while back as well. 100+ mi running and 50mi hiking brought some pretty good stats and tracking with Strava integration as well. I have a small wrist and this is a perfect size.
