I bought the 28" 3 burner Pro model with the lid, wheels, 2 shelves, paper towel holder and magnetic holder on clearance after Black Friday at Walmart last year for $125 (it was $175 on BF).

The grill top is thick and heavy cast iron so it will rust if you do not care for it properly but it can be cleaned up should you let it get that way with a pumice brick. I always spread a thin coat of olive oil after every use and havent had any rust issues.

Highly recommend these grills and at least the 28" model if you have a family of 4+. Hardly ever use our regular grill anymore and cleanup is super easy in comparison.
Correction, they are actually cold-rolled steel griddle tops but you treat them like cast iron. I have the older 22" and 36" and keep the 36" outside. If you plan to keep it outside, I would recommend a hard top cover (which this 22 comes with), fabric cover for UV/more water protection and always apply oil on the griddle top after each cook. I have some surface rust underneath the front but you can always spray some high temp paint on the bottom portion to prevent rust on the non cooking areas.

If you can wait i would. I picked up 28" deluxe for $99 last year, and the 36" even went on sale for sub $150.

I stand corrected. It is in fact steel. The 28" ProSeries 3 burner also came with a hard top. It looks exactly as the item below but with 3 burners instead of 2, and instead of doors it has a shelf.

I dont use a cover due to it being in a covered porch and that brings about another plus, I could never grill in my porch due to the smoke of a standard grill but thats not an issue with these, or at least it hasnt been for us. These things are great!

I heard this rusts easy any tips on this piece? Someone said get a better brand.
Season it properly, keep a light coat of oil on it after cleaning, & don't leave it exposed or out in the rain. Cover the flat top well where rain water runs off because water & humidity on uncoated cold-rolled steel is your enemy.

There's been several areas of the country where Walmart is offering clearance prices on models & size griddles. BUT... its the luck of the draw if you run into any Walmart & find one on clearance, or if it's the same clearance price as a different store's location. Each store is managed individually by corporate & its local manager. One store might have the air fryer model at $350 & another 10 mi down in another town at the full price.

Is there a BF deal for 36 inch coming up also?
No, there is no 36" listed in Walmart's BF ad. Only this new model 22" Adventure griddle. Here's the BF info & sale ads...

A smashed burger is gross. Those claiming anything about sealing in juices are idiots.

Why would anyone think a browned crust seals in anything. How do they think that works?

Smashburgers are amazing. I don't know about sealing juices but they're so tasty and easy...

I really want the collapsible Camp Chef four burner. Has anyone seen any specials on the Camp Chef? They seem to have a little better design.

Smashburgers are all about the "favorable crust". If made with 80/20 ground beef and cooked properly [seriouseats.com], they are not dry

I'm cautious buying Wal-Mart models as they are typically made cheaper to fit the pricing model. Anyone know if this is the case with Blackstone?

Portability shown around the 3:40 mark.

I've been looking for one of these for quite some time. It's great that it can accommodate a 20 lb propane tank as well. Thanks for the find OP!
Great. I've been watching this guy all morning now

Still nothing to do with sealing in juices.

Still find em gross. Way to greasy.

Didn't say it had anything to do with sealing

Walmart is the biggest seller of Blackstone griddles & accessories. Extremely popular.
