I really want the collapsible Camp Chef four burner. Has anyone seen any specials on the Camp Chef? They seem to have a little better design.
I have the 22 with adjustable legs. I actually prefer it more than this sale model since mine collapses flat for storage & the griddle separates from hood & base. The sale model hood is attached to the griddle. I paid full price but didn't care because they were OOS for a couple months at all the Walmart's by me & just got back in stock, & I really wanted it!. Lowest clearance price by me per brickseek history was 144.00.

I also have a 36 inch model I got on sale at Tractor Supply some time ago.

I bought the last year's model and use it all the time. We actually prefer it over a charcoal grill for burgers. For $100 it's a great value.

We do the same thing. Burgers are amazing on griddles. We do sausage peppers and onions often too. Certain foods are just better on the griddle and more convenient

Dont understand the point of a griddle. A $10 cast iron pan on an electric stove does the same thing.
Not really. A frying pan is too small, & you'd need a power source to heat your pan up while away from home.

The 22 inch model with adjustable legs is $174. Same size griddle.

Can you grill 4 burgers, 4 hotdogs, 8 buns at the same time in a cast iron pan? Actually, with this griddle, you can cook 20 burgers, 20 hotdogs, and 20 buns all at once!

Or, take breakfast: 12 eggs, a pound of bacon, enough home fries for 6, and at least 6 pieces of toast/English muffins/bagels - all at once.

Or, do an entire hibachi meal for 6 guests - all at once. Applause

If you're cooking all of that on a 22" griddle, you must be cooking mini-sizes of everything.

Umm.....yeah I think you may be speaking of the fullsize grill because you most certainly can't cook that on the 22" unless you have some kind of magic shrink / expand ray for the before and after...

Got the "older" version without wheels.
Proper sear on meat to seal in juices much better than the grill.
Regulator is finicky, doesn't like quick changes or it thinks blasting propane into open air, cuts flow. Simple to reset, though.
got sick of that problem and found a better regulator

No it does not. LOL Your little pan is not physically capable of holding the same amount of food compared to 330 square inches of a 22 inch griddle.
