Nice! Just in time to renew a Red Pocket annual plan. 10% back between this and the Chase deal.

where do you sell elsewise may I ask?
FB marketplace mainly. But you will have to still use ebay for unique items unfortunately.

Same here. I mainly sell on FB marketplace since the 10% fee on ebay for most things is crazy.

Sold a laptop on ebay last month for $500. Ebay took $50, paypal like $10, then $15 shipping.

It's annoying, but ebay isn't going anywhere. Seems to me it's pretty much pure profit for them, vs most business models.

Ebay sucks and this 5% that you get back once a quarter is pretty stupid. BUT i guess its better than nothing if youre buying anyway.

I don't get how normal people still sell on ebay. The fees are crazy, shipping cost is so high, and the buyer always wins disputes.
I could not agree more. I used to sell thousands per year, now I only sell local.

Between eBay, paypal, and shipping, more than 25% of the selling price is eaten up in overhead. That means sellers expect 25% higher prices which = not near as many good deals as their used to be. They purely rely on their name and I've been saying for years their days are numbered if they continue to stay stagnant.

Plus their selling interface hasn't (barely) been updated in years and they always side with the buyer in disputes. It's simply a PITA to sell on eBay and I hope they go out of business. Yes I hate eBay.
