Bought this in June for the same price and I haven't had an issue since. I haven't even had to restart it once. Rock solid.

Did you turn it on? Stick Out Tongue

How does this compare to the TP-Link Archer AX3000 (AX 50) ?

Any router can work with verizon fios if you have them setup the ont to use the ethernet port on the ont for internet. Then you have to run an ethernet cable from the ont to the router (and not use their router). Issue comes up when you have fios tv also and have to use their router for their tv boxes

I'm not sure how the wifi 6 router is. I came from an old Tp-link N router that had to be restarted multiple times a day. Solid at first, but fell apart in the end. This is the first time I have ever had a router be this solid out of the gate. It could end up like my old router but so far, so good.

Moca adapter will solve that issue (I'm sure you know already but just so other guy knows). Also when I had Fios installed about 3 years ago they had ran ethernet to my Verizon router already and ONT was set for it already, so all I had to do was install my new router and hook up moca adapter and I was good to go!

Will I increase my upload speed with this device? I have a lot of devices on my wifi and looking to make things faster. I currently have a Arris surfboard SBG6900 and looking to go the separate device route(modem and router).

thanks

Also curious what others think of this Costco deal and the Archer AX3000. I live in an apartment and only have one 6 device with the rest (cell phones, laptops, Rokus) being 5 or older. Kids just usually play online games, stream YouTube, Roku, or Netflix, and have two Zoom meetings going on at the same time on the weekdays.

This is a tri band versus the AX50 being dual band. So you have an extra 5ghz band to spread out your devices. I bought this and have it set up as an access point in the middle of my 2 story house that is 2800 sqft. I elected on using this over a mesh system, as I have a hardline connection in my living room. I get wifi everywhere even outside. Speed test on 5ghz shows 300+ mbps sitting 10 ft away from it. I've seen 500+ at times, on CenturyLink gigabit service. I really like this router.
