That's the hipster perspective, but these are working boots for a reason - lightweight, steel toe (real), and unmatched ankle support with cushioning. Rappers have them BECAUSE they last forever and its a shoe that's worth the +$100 price. This is a great deal. Never see these less than $75
Depends on your needs. These would make excellent everyday-type boots/commuter boots.

Aside from the boot snobbery in the comments; these would be perfectly fine for the majority of trails most hikers venture out to.

Not sure what these other guys are doing when they keep mentioning Danner and other "real" boots; they must be hiking Kilimanjaro on the regular or perhaps live on the Appalachian Trail.
Bought these because another pair of timberland hiking boots I have are super comfortable. Unfortunately these look and feel like a much cheaper alternative. These hurt your feet and are pretty stiff even after breaking them in..
I wouldn't buy these again, I would spring for the 90-100$ dollar pair I got at dicks sporting goods last time

Size 7 to 8.5W. Too bad larger sizes aren't available.

Larger sizes definitely are available. I just bought two pair in 11.5. If you're on your phone, remember to scroll the size of sideways. If you're on a computer, click see all sizes available.

They are Timberlands. Get some waterproofing spray and these will last years, then you can replace the insoles.

No one but rappers and wannabes buy Timberland's as hiking boots. The real hikers are made by Vasque, Merrell, Garmont, Asolo etc.

I find most steel toed boots to be uncomfortable. I'll always pass on them.

Kinda limits my options.
