I bought it a while ago but just now started playing it and noticed the sale by chance and though I'd pass it along. I'm about 13 hours in, looks like I can finish between 15 - 20 hours which I'm more than satisfied with. I'm behind the times but it's really good - I dip in and out of gaming but it's the first game I've personally played that I would describe as "cinematic" (that radio tower scene!). If you hated the the controls and camera of the old PS1 games that has been resolved. I'm playing with an XBOX 360 pad - seems like it would be a better experience than mouse/kb (pad's analog movement is helpful) and supports rumble.

I'd describe the gameplay as like The Last of Us but light on stealth and heavy on shooting (especially as the game progresses) plus parkour and more QTE

Finished Tomb Raider at 21 hours @ 75% completion rate. I consider it one of the best games of all time and a landmark title like Street Fighter 2 or Deus Ex. Better than The Last of Us which this game has a lot in common with. If you're sitting on the fence - just buy it.

GTX 1060, Steam's most popular video card, will get you about 50fps at 4K on high.I've been playing on a 75 inch 4K TV which almost nobody could experience back in 2013 - so there are some advantages to being late in the game
