Best Buy [bestbuy.com] has 22" Insignia LED 1080p TV for $60. Free shipping or free in-store pickup.

One of Best Buy's Deals of the Day.

Seems like a great deal for a no thrills TV for the Kitchen or similar. Been hard to find a 1080p TV at this size. Hope this helps someone.

It will work as a monitor but do not expect this TV to be as good as a true computer monitor:

"Yes. I connect it via the HDMI port on my laptop. But note that the TV has overscan turned on by default. This basically puts the outside edges of the picture behind the monitor bezels. Overscan can be turned off in the settings but it compresses the picture so it's not displayed in native resolution. This in turn makes the picture less sharp than it is with overscan on. Text can become difficult to read depending on the font and the font size. Images and streaming (YouTube, Netflix, etc) still looks pretty good."

Also this TV does not appear to support chroma 4:4:4 so text may not be clear or easy to read.
If you reads the previous deal thread from 2018, there is someone talking about this. The default sharpness is too high. If reduce the sharpness to 0, the text will become clear.
I just ordered one. I am buying it for the following reasons:
1. Composite video input (good for some retro consoles)
2. Small and light - for comparison, my 24 inch sony 3d playstation display is 30 inch wide and 12.5 lb while this one is 20 inch wide and only 5lb
3. Stand VESA mount. Again my playstation dispaly does not have a standard VESA and I have to buy some additional hardware which will cost me around 15-20. The different for getting this is merely 40 bucks.
I went to my boss' house for a late dinner party and his live in girlfriend got in a heated argument with him and threw one of his work awards at the tv and shattered it. He used to just stand there for hours watching that sweet thing.

Anyway, weirdest dinner party ever.

Have had this since 2018, works fine as monitor. Even the USB port powers a 4K fire stick

Bought two of these last week for live stream production work. Used one for a confidence monitor (like a teleprompter) and the other for my video switcher's multiview. Is it 10bit 4:4:4 ips? No, but it costs so little that if it breaks or gets stolen, i'll grab another pair.

Weighs next to nothing, you'll want to adjust the over scan out of the box or use the "gaming" profile as it's set correctly for resolution scaling.

wow, this is a massive deal. Does anyone know if this would be ok for gaming/connecting as a big screen for computer via HDMI?

That all depends on the quality of your graphics card.
