I think the Wyze bulbs are awesome. Love that they can be on a schedule, dimmed, and adjusted from soft white to day light to cool white. I only have one and want more but thinking of getting eufy doorbell so might switch to eufy bulbs.

I wish they had a water sensor (to put near water heater)
You can modify the contact sensors to be used as a water sensor. However, I wouldnt go buying any of the Wyze sensors until they release the V2. The current ones are prone to dying(brick) when the battery gets low. Wyze knows about this issue and is waiting on depleting its current stock before releasing the newer version.

I agree with you. I did the math and the total came out to $78 if you buy at the wyze site. However the wyze sense was out of stock but I found it on ebay and marketplace for $20. The only thing I didn't add was the 32 gb sd card and those go for $3-$4.
Conclusion- Not that Great of a deal. Wyze day starts this 24th so go to their website in 2 days
They tack on a buch for shipping like $20 so it is a bigger discount than you think

. I had a 256gb card in there. It got corrupted after 2 weeks, and had to reformat. The reformat had to be done manually, including popping it out and putting it in again, otherwise it wouldn't register. Tried swapping it with a microcenter 32gb class 10. Better results, but still crashed every so often.
They say max 32gb and you put in 256gb and wonder why there were issues?

They say 32gb, and I also used 32gb and it gives me problems anyways. So what's your point?

I've mentioned in another response that in their forums, others have had no issue with cards over 64gb.

Had the sensors not a fan they were constantly disconnecting, but the cameras and switchs work great havent tried the bulbs
I guess I don't know how any of it works.

What is the difference between a contact sensor and motion sensor? Vs just the regular cam?

Kinda off, but still on topic...What's a good setup for a closed (non cloud based) camera system?

I have mine in the pantry with a contact sensor to turn the light on and off when you open/close the pantry door. I have another set in some lamps to turn on/off with Alexa and on a schedule....that sort of thing.
Ii do something similar although it's not with waze rather Phillips hue. Love having my front porch and driveway and backyard on a schduel to turn on at night and off in the morning. Also when I'm away I have my 4 lights inside turn on at random times to "act" like someone is home to dutur shady people. Along with motion triggered flood lights and a fake security camera I'm pretty well safe. I do live in a safe rural town but you never know! Last resort is Remington 870 tactical 12 guage with light and buck shot 👀

Wyze cameras are complete junk, have tons of smart home stuff for years now and they are the only one that ever had issues. Got one on the Prime Day deal last weekend and it bricked on setup, no lie, sent it back and got refunded my money and it has happened to tons of people too. My Blink indoor cameras have been rock solid though.
What was the issue? I have a few of them, they work. I also tried ring and others. I think the feature that has free 2 weeks rolling online storage was good.

Or run them on a schedule

Looks like they don't sell the sensors on their website anymore as a new model is coming out. Not sure what the new model will offer but just an FYI that may be why this is discounted and may drop more.
The original/current Wyze Sensor (this one) has a terrible flaw rendering them disposable. When the battery runs out the device loses its network MAC address and it cannot be recovered after replacing the battery. It's a huge firmware issue that Wyze didn't address before sending them out the door. There's more information on this within their Reddit sub.

In my experience the cameras are great though.

Just my .02 on my Wyze Cam experience(YMMV). Cost and setup, good, Camera's so-so.

Early issues with sd card errors requiring periodical removal/fix on my first camera. I now have 3 v2's. 2 have issues of video/playback being too fast, app crashes periodically, -0- time recordings, night vision(ehh, OK).

Currently having issue with very slow motion-detect video playback load-time on my Motorola Tracfone, didn't seem to have this issue on other devices(phone issue?).

Not sure if some/any of these issues can be attributed 100% to Wyze cam device/app/software/firmware.... as(like others)my playback devices, router, etc. could definitely be playing a role.

All-in-all though...pretty much what I'd expected from a $20 device. Would I trust as a reliable (outdoor) security solution? Probably not(it's not meant to be)... Indoor?...again, YMMV based on your camera(quality)/setup.
