Be careful with online eyeglasses ordering, especially with progressive. You must provide exact measurements, i.e. Pupillary distance, how high is the optical center of the lens, aka "segment high", axis, etc. If any of this measurements are off, especially if you have high prescription, you will spend a lot of time, and possibly money to get it fix. In addition, some people are having hard time to adjust to progressives, if they never had progressives before, and/or switching from bifocals. Also, as mentioned in previous posts, there are wide variety of progressive lenses styles on the market. For instance, if one used to high definition lenses, it could be very difficult to adjust to lower class/ cheaper progressive lenses.

P.S. Keep in mind that $79 is for the frame only. Everything else is extra.
Some top progressive lenses:

Shamir Autograph 3 series
Essilor Varilux X
Zeiss individual 2
Hoya iD MyStyle 2
FYI I just ordered a pair of scratch resident, transition, bifocals from goggles4u and the total shipped was $56.44. Their shipping is slow but we've been buying all our glasses from there for several years and have never had a problem.

They always have several coupons available but I used g4u59 to get this price.

Got this deal the last time it came around a few months ago, took 5 days to get to me, I'm in Portland, OR.

So far so good, I'm pretty happy with the quality.

There are different versions of progressive glasses out there. One has a much wider viewing angle and tends to be much more expensive.

I've been looking too. I found these but they're not available in progressive, which is what I need.
