I bought these last month and it works with my S20 FE no problem. I asked my wife to see if she can tell any difference between her Airpods (non-pro) and OnePlus Buds and she said she couldn't tell. OnePlus did announce that they were gonna release the app to change settings, update firmware, etc in the future, but who knows when that'll be.
TLDR: From my experience, quality-wise as good as regular Airpods and works like any bluetooth headphones.
Thank you for confirming this. I'd like to use with a Google Pixel
OnePlus Buds and OnePlus phones, when used together, will provide the best experience. They are also compatible with all Bluetooth devices;
I have these headphones and they do work on other devices. They work via bluetooth which most devices have. I constantly switch from my phone to my Google chromecast with TV and works amazing. Sound quality is outstanding too but no rubber tips sucks.
At this point any bluetooth that cost more than 20 bucks does a decent job. The question becomes what are the best bluetooth for Android users? I personally did not like any of the Samsung true wireless buds and do the sennheiser are even worth the 300 bucks? that's almost a Pixel 4a!
I have these and bought them for $98 shipped when they first came out or right around there. In my OP8 they never got an update and I used that phone until mid September. I'm now using the OP Buds with an iPhone SE and they instantly connect when you open the case. The only controls you'll have on any phone is double tapping the pod to skip a song or you can pull out one Bud and the music stops and will start playing where you left off if put back in before 2-3 minutes. I can't remember the exact time. To me the Buds are not very loud and I turn them around 70-75% to mow the lawn with a battery powered mower. The lawn mower is not very loud. The Buds also don't block out much back ground noise at all.
With all that said I'd buy them again at this price but not for the nearly $100 I did.
Brought them last prime day and returned them after few days of using...
the issue was with fitting and connection(Your YMMV)
(Note i m using it with my oneplus 7T)
first of all fitting in my ear is not good. constant falling off amd hurt my ear after 10mintues of music ( Sounds really awesome though).And secondly the left one has connection issue when switching between call and music.but the right one works just fine.
I have it delivered today. I pair it with my iPhone. For a normal Bluetooth earphone, it works fine. But the double or triple touch to switch doesn't work very well. Since it has no settings on the phone, we can only use the default settings. I think it is just shuffling songs. Anyway, not too bad.
