Bought it on Sept. 22 for $419 ($499 minus $80 in-store coupon). It goes on sale on the 28th for $50 less....but unfortunately for me that is past the Costco 30-day window for price adjustments. So I just returned it and will rebuy next week. Seems silly that Costco has a no-questions-asked return policy but is strict with their 30 day price adjustment policy....

Clearly you're happy enough with it to keep it - can you expand on how well it performs? I've been on the fence between the LG and another Dyson for a bit.

We already had corded Dyson vacs at home. But the wife wanted to go cordless. So It was between this and the Dyson V11 cordless. Both have good reviews. I went with this because: (1) The LG comes in a stand (with an optional wall mount). The Dyson only mounts on the wall. (2) The Dyson replacement battery is $149 from Dyson. The LG comes with 2 batteries and replacement cost is $103 from LG. (3) The purchase price of the LG is less than the Dyson. Now, at $369, it is way less.

I will rebuy it because my wife was very happy with the units performance on hardwood floors, carpets, and dog hair (short haired dog.)

Thanks!

Like you, I have a dyson ball corded vac, as well as a dyson v7 cordless. Unfortunately the v7 has started to struggle due to battery and/or filter issues so I'm shopping for an update!

Thanks for the feedback!

I'm also curious for more people who have this to chime in. I have also heard other bad reviews but I have been eyeing the LG Cordzero for about a year now and this is the best discount I have seen. I've used Dyson before (many friends own it) but I don't like the trigger hold and I know the battery doesn't last. What is the Costco return window for this in case I realize I just don't like it?

Costco return policy is unbeatable. No questions asked 100% guarantee. I've personally returned an item after ~12 months but I know other people have returned things years later.

Curious how this compares to the Dyson V8 absolute which is currently on sale on Dyson's Website for $299. Besides the unbeatable Costco warranty (which is already making me lean towards the LG) anything else that differentiates the two? Thx

I have both the LG and the V8. Close in performance but if no other reason but the fact that you get two batteries and the stand I would say go with the LG. Not to mention the LG is more quiet and has one more speed. With the V11, no doubt the Dyson is a better performer and with the newer SV15 V11's you can swap the batteries too.

Reference? Also, would this be the newer swappable battery version?

Definitely a Costco member. I may wait until later in the month to see if there are other better vacuum deals before biting on this though.

If they find you are abusing the return policy you may get put on a naughty list

"In the event a member is not satisfied with Costco merchandise, the membership fees may be refunded and the membership canceled," a representative for the company told BI in a statement. "This decision is made on a case-by-case basis and is at the discretion of each location manager. Additionally, memberships may be canceled due to abuse of the Member Privileges and Conditions."
