Still deciding on these. I've been with Arlo so long.
I had 5 of the original Arlo Pro cameras. It's a no brainer, the Eufy system is more responsive. Their app is better optimized and there's no subscription fees. The cameras have configurable motion zones that Arlo charges for.

These. Hands down. I test home security and surveillance products as part of my job. I have a Eufy setup, Arlo, Nest, Ring, etc. Eufy's app experience, speed, image quality, notifications and price etc are just simply better all around. Out of all the main DIY players in this space at this price point, I'd go with Eufy.

While the Eufy Pro 2 is $256 for 2 cam with homebase... Is pro 2 way better than 2c. Any thoughts?
Pro2 has 1 year battery rating, 2k resolution, and built-in antitheft alarm in the camera vs 6 months battery rating, 1080p, and no built-in antitheft alarm on the 2C. Some 2C users have also mentioned that its wireless range is shorter.

Just bought blink 5 camera kit on prime day. Should I return them and get this?

I have a 2 camera setup of the 2C's and I love them. Installed in Jan 2020 and recharged both mid-year so battery life is believable. The more triggered one drained slightly faster but that's to be expected. Great response time and sound sensitivity for recordings.

Don't buy it if you want real automation in your home. Don't have integration with SmartThings, Google home or Alexa. Very poor interaction with Alexa, google home e HomeKit

Interested in the thoughts of anyone who has used these and Arlo. Currently working with Arlo Pro 2, but as our camera needs expand, this seems to be a much more budget friendly option.
These launch quick. Many more options. Better than Arlo. Returned them and bought these.

I have my Eufy doorbell and cameras connected to Google Home. I get on demand video display from any of cameras and doorbell on my Google Home hub. But yes, no automation built in. I'm using MacroDroid on my phone to announce motion detections from all Eufy devices on my hub.

Remember to put the homebase device close to the ceiling so no other objects blocking wireless signal from the cameras to it.

Not recommended. I have few point to prove it.
First and foremost, they are claiming 180 days for battery which is wrong max 90 to 100 days.
Second, eventually it will start draining due to battery life.
Third, they are reducing price daily.
Forth, their customer care is not as efficient as others.
So on
First, Saying one tank of gas will give you one week of driving is based on your average driving. Not everyone drives same distance or same frequency. 180 days of battery is based on low traffic frequency. Expecting it to perform as a wired camera is an ignorant statement.

Second, "battery draining", wow this is complete news to me Wink Do you actually expect anyone to take you seriously. All rechargeable batteries have number of cycles they can be recharged. I strongly recommend that you look up that number before posting.

Forth, technology price going down over time, that goes for all technology, you can apply that logic to just about anything . . . horrible point, instead what you should ask yourself is: "Is this deal Slick". You have yet to provide any evidence that this deal was sold for less . . . please do so.

So on.
When you compare a battery systems, Eufy is one of the best and you know it, that is why you failed to provide an alternative battery system and instead just focus on thins that are inherent to all battery cameras. Like saying: the problem with a gas car is that i have to put gas into it for it to work.
