Eufy has great customer service. They recently replaced a 2c that was not recognizing humans when in human only mode.

I would say the 2c is more theft deterrent. If the light is always on that actually helps the thief more than it's helping you. But what makes the thief panic is the change in the environment, for example the porch light or the lights inside the house turning on, or somebody screaming/talking.

In fact, when I had construction done at our house, and there was pounding on the wall, the camera detected this and the alarm was blaring. If you start to twist the camera to unscrew it from the mount, it will also alarm before you get the chance to take it off.

The light I was referring to is a solar light that can be configured to be always on (dim) and gets bright when it detects motion. This solar light can also be configured to be not on at all and only light up when it detects motion.

I'm saying that the combination of this solar light which is much brighter plus a Eufycam with built in alarm is more theft deterrent than a 2C with a weak spotlight and no built in alarm.

People don't twist the cameras off. They smash and grab. If you have a spotlight it lights them up before they even get there. I see you conveniently skipped the part where you said the light only goes 3 feet. I think you just like to argue about things you've never owned.

Has Eufy enabled IFTTT on these things yet? They've been promising it for years.

If I could have a trigger for when it detects a person these would be SO useful to me.

if that's what you want, eufy already has a spotlight with camera all in one . . . it is however hardwired

for anyone making a ridiculous claim that POE is easy and fast to install . . . here is a link to average cost of POE installation . . . yes, it cost more than the cameras usually . . . Typical Range: $680 - $2,123 [homeadvisor.com]

and to buy a decent POE, with good up to date software/app and hardware will cost you $500-800.

Do they make an in home security set? I have the doorbell and the battery outdoor cameras. However, I would like something similar to the ring set at Costco. Surprised they don't have a set I can find like that.
