Grainger is totally reputable. They have a number of brick and mortar stores too. They're big time in industrial supply.
Yea, I'm in the HVAC industry and we've been using them for one of our major supplies for 25+ years. Fortunately I have a brick and mortar store about a mile from my house.

Lowes has it for the same price
If I read correctly, you don't get the charger and the bag with Lowes' deal.

I know several people who have sawed like 3 2x4s and a piece of plywood in 5 years who have a dewalt circular
saw. Is the quality really in line with their prices? You'd think they were like roomba vacuums where they just saw wood when you're asleep or something. Maybe people like name brand same as clothing, like it's a statement? I'm probably just a cheapo who also doesn't saw much stuff.

So buy a $20 corded saw and call it a day. No need to spend hundreds on something you use very rarely.

How does this compare to this Milwaukee circular saw on sale at Home Depot? https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa...iSFLy53yk0

I understand this saw comes with a charger and the Milwaukee one does not. I have Milwaukee tools so I have a charger. Just want to know if anyone has had experience with both saws to comment on which one they prefer? Thanks!

As tempting as this is, I can't go back to a right hand blade saw.

Cordless power tools are amazing nowadays. For a circular saw though I'd skip the batteries and just get a corded version. It's cheaper, has the same if not more power. And you don't have to deal with battery charging. The good battery circ saws are expensive. For around $100 you could get a corded Dewalt or Makita and that saw would probably last you a lifetime if you're just a home DIYer.

Have you ever used a cordless? I am an avid DIYer and could never go back to a corded saw. The cordless saws are well worth the price.

Absolutely, I work in manufacturing there's a brick and mortar a couple miles away from our facility. Plants around here use them for quick turnaround stuff all the time.
