Note a couple of things:

1. The Netflix Android app shows Standard Definition (SD) as the maximum playback resolution. The only way to watch higher definition content on the Lenovo Duet Chromebook is the same method for all others at this time: In the Chrome browser, which means watching HD movies online only.

2. While you can use a second display with either a USB-C hub with HDMI out like this one, the highest resolution you can get is 1080p at 24fps.

I have had this unit since June. It is great. I came from the HP X2, and other than its size (10" vs 12") I have not noticed any major difference in performance. THe HP is an intel i3.
Overall, I use this mainly for consumption of video, web surfing, and reading. I do use it some for work with notetaking and document creation/edit while on the go. I do NOT game on it at all.
This is such a huge value over a traditional android tablet. The full Chrome browser means you can access so many of those web based applications from a work perspective that just dont work on an android tablet. Oracle, SF, etc. generally just work as long as they dont need any substantive plugins like Java etc.
I picked one up early on after all the hype and just couldn't get into it. I love the form factor but chrome os is awkward as a tablet, wonky with the keyboard and it felt a bit sluggish to me. I am very happy this machine exists and I think it pushes the chromebook status quo and form factor. That being said, a ton of people love it.

Edit: My response sounded negative on it. I think it has a ton of great features at the price that others have already mentioned.

Does anyone have a reliable way to compare these MediaTek processors to Intel?

People these are too small, they are tablets with keyboard not fully operable chromebooks, better to get at least 12" or bigger otherwise just use regular android tablets. Especially for $269 + tax there will be better chrome books black fri, cyber monday & x-mas
But you can return it until jan 2.

I replaced a 13.3" dell xps with this and have never been happier. It works great and is plenty fast for web browsing and some android apps.

Great little 'beginner' Chromebook, with useful keyboard! BestBuy is running this promotion 2nd time. I bought it the very first time for 262.99 plus 17.75 tax. Total 280.74

I have purchased several of these and for 90% of people it fills 99% of their needs. Don't listen to naysayers. If you are interested in a $270 chromebook/android tablet, then it should satisfy your needs.
