This is a great light. I highly recommend it. It was so nice to take into a crawl space and have plenty of light without dragging a power cord. And an get so bright I usually use one of the lower settings.

I think my m12 lantern died the other day, so this is timely.

This is a superb light. I'm picking up a second. The comparable brightness (~3k lumens) "new" light from Milwaukee is packout compatible and 199 (pre-order).

I believe 5 year warranty on the m12 lantern.
I've used Milwaukee's warranty and they quickly replaced a faulty m12 tool, so you should take advantage of that!

And then get this rover as well...

I have a bunch of the M12 and M18 lights that Milwaukee makes (Rocket, Rover, etc.) because I'm always working around the house w/the breakers off, under the deck, under the car, and other places where additional light is beneficial. They all have their uses, but this particular one is my goto light 75% of the time. It's as bright as (or brighter than?) the Rocket, but is still relatively compact and very portable. It can sit under my car and rotate to shine in the area I need. It really is a great light and, like others, I'd highly recommend it.

I like the corded power option. Could a DeWalt battery fit or be adapted to work with it?
