Pic 3 is not relevant. Why would I need ink cartridge in a vacuum?

These vacuums are great! Been using since 5 years and I have two A2's now. They aren't very smart with advance features but they pick up a lot!

Don't expect whole house cleaning, these are okay for if you want to focus on a room or two. I use it primary in the kitchen and another room where the vacuum can't get under the bed.

Looks like a good, basic starter robot vacuum.

this brand is okay and works pretty well on flat surfaces (i.e., tile, wood). It's nowhere near as good as a lower level iRobot, though. I've ran both side to side and the iRobot picks up a ton more. Also, finding replacement parts can be difficult...the only way I could pick up a replacement battery for the V3 model is to purchase from a seller (via Amazon) that shipped directly from China.

Do they just bump into something and go a different direction?

Actually I kinda wish mine would. That sensor glass detects objects and redirects. Doesn't get close enough to walls IMO. Otherwise does well. A4 for 4 years.

I've had this model and several others. I think you can do better at the same price point. Several FP deals in the last few weeks for bots with better suction and WiFi.

This is important to keep in mind. I'm on my second Roomba and appreciate that replacement parts are plentiful and easy to find/install. Also, iRobot has good customer service if you need to talk to them.

My mom is looking for her first robot vacuum and I have been talking her down from so many cheap vacuums that are on sale. I said....don't worry, between now and Christmas, Roomba deals will come around again.
