900 companies report earnings next week. By next weekend I predict we will all be living off hand-crank power and eating grubs we dig out of the ground.

Yeah, this is a a near copy of the Eton FR160 MicroLink emergency radio (https://www.rei.com/product/79197...pose-radio), and is marketed under a variety of oddball brand names. I've always suspected they all come from the same Chinese factory. That's some good internet sleuthing, sarcasmogratis.
Here's the deal. I'm a bit of a prepper and own the Eton FR160 MicroLink. It's a very well-built little radio that provides critical AM/FM/NOAA weather band reception during a natural disaster, as well as a flashlight, (very modest) cellphone charging capability and solar, USB and hand crank charging options. Out of curiosity I bought one of these Chinese clones back in 2016 (this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1 - I think it's the same radio as this current deal, but judge for yourself). I found it be not quite the equal of the Eton in terms of radio sensitivity and build quality, but everything worked. After seeing this current deal, for yuck's sake I dug out that (now 4 year old) Eton clone and cranked it for 60 seconds. The flashlight function worked just fine (terrible beam with very pronounced hotspots, but perfectly serviceable light), tuned into a couple of local FM stations and then found a NOAA weatherband. I've been listening to that for 14 minutes now and it's still going strong on that 60 seconds of hand-cranked charge.
As FEMA recommends ((https://www.ready.gov/kit), an AM/FM/Weatherband radio is a very sensible thing to include in any family's emergency preparedness kit. Assuming this current deal is the same (or at least equivalent) as the Eleclover-branded radio I bought 4 years ago, this is a steal at less than $9.
Thanks OP. You may be a shill, but I'm in for one.

Thought about getting this for a drive-in theater, to not drain the battery but I've gotten these kind of things before & the battery might not last anyway... probably am better off just having one of those jump starters on me, just in case

Do you feel lucky?
Send me the $6.63. I won't ship you anything, either, but I'll feel better. And I'm being honest about it.
