The stand is compatible with most common miter saws and the utility vehicle sets up in seconds. The stand features an upright folding design for easy storage, set-up and break down.
Includes: Stand, (2) mounting brackets, (2) material stops, (2) material supports, hardware, (2) wheels, (1) handle, (2) feet, (1) frame support leg, and an operator's manual.
I have this stand and experience the same issue as you (have a 12" slider - the 65lb Bosch Glide saw). What I found is that the saw itself had slide down towards the right side of the bracket (between the two poles, requiring A LOT more effort to open it). Once I repositioned it in the center between the brackets and tightened it back up, it was much easier to open.
wife has approved the deal, thank you OP, SD and wife.
Fantastic deal and stand. I was waiting on a sale but got impatient and ordered a factory blemished from DTO for $189 a couple weeks ago when they had $50 off $200+.
The stand is so awesome that I'm not even that upset I could have gotten it for $99 at HD. I felt it was still a steal at $189 - $50 (plus bought something small I needed anyway to get the $50 off).
It's a no brainer at this price.

Have it hooked up to a 12 inch Hitachi sliding saw. Would not recommend for that saw , it's hard to open it due to the location at which the saw mounts

I've seen nothing but rave reviews. Quite the coincidence and a no-brainer.
I've been eyeing the Paulk miter saw plans on YouTube and this sorta defeats the point now. But I think there is a place for both in my life.
