First time posting. Been eyeing these tablets as a good replacement for the kids. Has more RAM than any brand name tablet at this price that I have been able to find. Not heavy on bloatware and has decent reviews. Regular price is $139.99 - $42.00 using the promo code brings this deal to $97.00!

PROMO CODE - TABLEAK1

Info from the website;

"Using the Kids Mode feature, you can protect your children from inappropriate online content and apps. With a TÜV®-certified display, which cuts back harmful levels of blue light that potentially damages eyesight—you and your family can watch and play for hours on long trips and slow days at home with peace of mind."

For those interested... (IIRC) Netflix will not playback in HD, this has Micro USB and good chance this will remain on Android 9.
Careful, the one with the dock has LOWER resolution, technically a different model 1280x800 not 1920/x1200
I believe you are referring to the Smart Tab M8. That one has lower res screen and 2 GB ram instead of 3.

How is Lenovo about updating Android?

My Samsung 2017 tablet upgraded to Android 9 but my LG and HP tablets are stuck at Android 5 and 4.4 respectively.

For two dollars more, you can get this with a dock. Just bought around 100 of these for an install and everyone loves having something small like this over iPads. You're not going to be running major applications, but they're fast enough for web browsing and non-gaming apps

The other one with Dock has a slower processor and 2GB ram vs this one having 3 GB ram. But agree both would be good for basic web browsing and non gaming. Also the Dock one will be for $60 on Walmart on the 11th I guess as part of Early Black Friday.

A few weeks ago, I bought a two-pack from Lenovo for about $206. I have been very happy with these tablets.
They are replacing a couple of 2017 Kindle Fire HD 8s and they are a nice upgrade.
Not having to deal with Fire OS is nice, too. Just a simple and decent, cheap tablet.
So long as your expectations are reasonable, I think you'll be happy with this device.
