I thought the Matrix Carbide has that black honeycomb graphic on the packaging?

I retract my previous comment, I think you're right. Not seeing any indication that these are the carbide tipped bits.

What's pictured is the new Gen 3 Shockwave bits. Black on the bottom, grey at the business end.

I have the 45pc set from last year, was very convenient to have during a few renovations I've done. Adding this as an extra. Why spend 5 min searching for my bit set, for $10 I can have two and save time.

Lol... That's sort of my logic for keeping things messy and ordering more than I need with everything.

It's not like they go bad or expire. Never going to be cheaper than this. Keep one at home and one on the job site. I'm thinking about getting more as gift for friends and family.

In what world is this ever selling for $50? This is average price for a bit set.

whoever designed the bit holders on these cases needs to get there head out of ... they are next to impossible to remove without pliers.

I have a Milwaukee drill set, came with a regular drill and an impact driver. I never use the impact driver because I didn't know when it's supposed to be used over a regular drill. Can someone help understand that? With this bit set, can I use the impact driver for some basic stuff like tightening/loosening screws for basic DIY stuff?
