I will give it a shot. I did a smaller one from Aukey that works well but the prospect of adding a 4th monitor is appealing. I can report back how well this works.

Edit: get it next day and hooked it up to my X1 Carbon and thunderbolt charging pass through. I cannot get my ultrawide to display correctly out of this. It's 3440x1440p ar 21:9 aspect. My two other monitors worked fine through the HDMI and VGA at normal 1080p. I hooked up the ultra wide to the hdmi on the laptop instead. I ended up just moving the laptop to the corner of my desk and running my 3 main monitors with the laptop screen closed. I couldn't get the VGA to output 1080 without mirroring the laptop display.

Ultimately this is actually what I wanted, as I get back a ton of desk space and can easily switch between my person desktop pc and work laptop. Usb ports and Ethernet all work fine so far.

One thing to note is I had to cram my vga and Ethernet cables to get them both to plug in. My vga has the screws to secure the cable and this adapter isn't really design for that size head. But it fit with a bit if force. Nether will fall out, I can promise you that.

I bought this product a few months back but returned it. It would not do 1980 x 1200 despite being rated for 4k (though I did not try it with 4k). It would just stretch out my vertical resolution. It wasnt only this brand but any generic dual HDMI with multiple ports (ethernet, usb card reader ect.). The hub that worked for both my 1980x1200 and 1980x1080 was a generic dual HDMI with only 1 usb 3.0 port.

Bought a Falwedi USB-C hub before and was surprisingly happier than with my Aukey USB-C hub. If I try and use the Aukey with a phone or tablet that supports video out, it won't work unless I plug power into the power pass through USB-C (female) port. The Falwedi didn't have any power pass through (maybe that's why?) and never had any issues like that.

Keep that in mind, either it's due to power passthrough port or due to Aukey. Not going to buy another one just to figure that out lol.

The Swiss Army has gone high tech. That number of wired connections in that form factor burns up a lot of desktop real estate.

Bought this a few weeks ago and it works great for me. I have three external monitors, Ethernet, and wireless mouse+keyboard plugged into it and it works great with my laptop.

Fake paid reviews, I feel so disappointed seeing these companies reaching slick deals as well. Very cheap quality product, look at the 1* reviews to know the truth.....

Bought this a few months back. It works okay but I was never able to get both HDMI ports and the VGA port to work at the same time. I contacted Falwedi customer service but never heard back from them. I kept it as it worked for what I needed but it's not 100%. YMMV

I am looking for a lesser cost option that has ability to connect one 1080P monitor via HDMI port and mouse and keyboard via 2 USB ports. Any recommendations?

Not defending but people really need to learn about the varies type c ports before assuming they buy these or any similar and expect it to work for their display. As of recent, unless you have a fairly recent more expensive laptop this won't work. Most cheap laptop just don't support it at all.

This one also mentioned the 3 different type c.
