I know nothing about audio stuff but I got a cheap record player to play some old LPs. Would this be a good speaker set I could hook up to the record player?

I have mine connected via rca cables to 3.5mm and it has a good sound. I like the fact that you can connect the radio to the a Bluetooth headset, so you can play your vinyls and sit on another side of the room.

it would work, do you have decent bookshelf speakers sitting around? If you do you can get a mini amp like this, this is what I'm using with my cheap record player. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00C2P6...LFb0V5GAY7

Mini amp plus good cheap bookshelf speakers for around $100 would work really well too. Ask any audiophile and they'll link you to $1000+ equipments lol

Thanks! Would you recommend it for $60 for someone like me who doesn't value quality TOO much?

Got it. I don't have any bookshelf speakers - that's why I'm thinking of buying these as a beginning point

I bought mine from a pawnshop early this year for $40. It's a $150~ radio, for $60, it being Sony, I'd say if it's not out of a budget, go for it.

I bought one of these (open box) at Best Buy a few years ago. I use it in my garage. The speakers sound really good and I've never had any problems with it. I have it paired to my phone and it connects in about 5 seconds. I would highly recommend.

Thanks OP, scored the last one at my Target. Don't know why the 10% off didn't work but at least the 5% red card discount kicked in.

I had this a long time ago. Sound is crap. I listen to classical music and the sound out of this is blasphemous. Bought it off Craigslist and sold it back on Craigslist.

10% coupon says that Sony is one of the exclusions.

I would recommend this if your music taste is not too bass heavy as this cannot go below 100Hz I like this as a nice bedroom music system or as a PC / Laptop companion
