welp mine came today and within 20 minutes noticed the wifi keeps dropping out for 2-3 minutes at a time. Per lenovo website the warranty is expired even though the date of manuf on the back is october 15th 2020. Soo their website offers no help no contact.

Anyone else having issues? bad batch? I have a ubiquiti home network so its pretty high end for a home.. excellent 5.0ghz wifi signal and each of my APs is on its own channel with no neighbors too close by. None of the other 50 things on wifi in my home have issues...

Mine has the same manufacturing date and no issues, have been using it since last Thursday.

I had a similar issue with a samsung on my meraki network, disabling band steering fixed the issue

I did a factory reset and it fixed it. The tablet itself still sucks in my house because I have 5 accesspoints because I like strong signal for streaming HD content off my plex server.. this thing hops between accesspoints and every time it drops signal for a long time and stops my playback.. none of my other devices do this.. I wonder if it is because it is a 1x1 antenna where most devices are 2x2.

I have each AP on a different 5.0ghz channel. Every once in a while radar forces an AP to a different channel, but I get notified by ubiquiti via email when that happens and it have not seen that happen since owing this.

Must resist any Android tablet due to lousy updating history. At the most you might get one update and then they move on to the next bright shiny new hardware release.
Not entirely true now that Samsung has committed to 3 updates for their Galaxy Tab S series starting with Tab S6 Lite

i agree with what you're saying. i was just referring to that's not the case anymore for all android tablets. lenovo is notorious for support and software update but something this cheap, if it last 2-3yrs despite no software update, is still great value for ppl who don't care/need it.

Is there any way we could make this a full fledged google home hub device. I bought this thinking it was gonna be an upgrade to the Lenovo smart display.but it's far from it.
