These things look sturdy and useful, for something...I want to get one to use, but I don't know what to use it for.

You find stuff for sure.

Also fwiw Dewalt and Stanley have similar, much cheaper systems

Agreed. Not worth it unless you're invested in the packout system already. I use the Craftsman Versastack from Lowe's and it's pretty much the same thing for much cheaper. I use mine for various types of screws and small parts instead of keeping them in the cardboard boxes they come in. I'd rather have a consolidated container for that type of stuff. Makes it easier to store and find things when I need it.

I use it for my drill and impact. Kept 4 containers for bits etc and added kaizen foam.

I got these at Grainger for $29 a couple of months back, but if you are a person like me who tinkers and have screws out the wazoo you use on a regular basis, these things are great. Solid made, and screws do not slip between the dividers so they stay separated.

Weren't the grainger ones the thin version? Home Depot price matched those for me and I love em. Also have the Stanley versions which are nice for the price.

Man is that expensive (both regular and sale price) for a small parts organizer!
What's so special about it?

I get that it's solidly made, adjustable, and actually organizes small parts instead of mixing them.
I get it's stackable and fits the format of the system.
No doubt if one's bought and locked into this system there's no other choice.
But still ... $50 w/tax - regular price - for a small organizer case? Seems highly overpriced for the quality or am I missing something?

Just sayin'.

Did it discount when you added all 3? Can't check since rolling box is off the site right now
