If you are dead set on a 8" tablet.... really there are not to many choices at this price point and I would say this is OKish.
But if you don't care about the size, the FireHD10 when on sale is a far superior tablet (IN SPEED).
But this tablet is an octa core and is 1080P and has 3GB of RAM AND IS LESS THEN $100. So for these reasons, I would say it is good.
I don't see any gamers buying this tablet, the biggest let down is the GPU (so weak). But if you are not a gamer or don't play games that need a fast GPU... this tablet should be good.
I actually like Lenovo's Android OS, I find it clean.
Choices for 8"....
Mi Pad 4 (while this is an amazing tablet, it is 2 years old)
Hauwei Media Pad M5 8.4" (if you can find this second hand for $200 or less, I would JUMP)
Fire HD8+ and HD8... Quad Core, may compete with the Lenovo on games but really, I consider this to slow.
Samsung... expensive for what you get.
There are alot more options if you get a 10"..... Number ONE in value is the Fire HD10 and then I would consider the Teclast T30 for $180ish.
Is Galaxy tab A 8.4 (2020) faster? Or this one? Regardless of the price.
Went with the samsung myself. Mainly because they can get HD video on prime, Netflix, etc due to having widevine level 1. Unsure if lenovo has fixed the issue.
Speed wise similar...samsung single core score about 1300 vs 900 and multi core 4000 vs 3900..
Haven't owned a crapple product since before my Commodore Amiga 500 vs ST days. And I still stick to no Apple products! Long live the A500!!!
Nah, you need the original Amiga (later renamed Amiga 1000) with all the original developers' signatures (and paw print) molded into the inside of the top half of the case.
And why is MediaTek thumbs down? To me you make no sense.
My guess is "back button" refers to leaving the details of this "deal" in the app and going back to the main deal listing.
MediaTek processors are notoriously cheap and slow, thus not very popular and often hard to find support for. They are the "shovelware" of ARM-based processors. They've gotten slightly better recently, but not nearly enough and it's gonna take a lot to overcome their poor reputation with techies.

Still don't understand "back button" but thats OK.
But I have to completely disagree with you about MediaTek... just like AMD, Intel, Snap Dragon, Kirin, etc... they all make low end, medium end and high end.
MediaTek's newest tablet/phone cpu's... some of them are pretty GOOD and some of them such as the Dimensity 1000 and 1000 Plus are AMAZING. I don't go by "brand name" for a CPU... I go by benchmarks (SPEED).
For example... MEDIATEK'S Dimensity 1000 and 1000 Plus, offering a powerful octa-core CPU layout featuring four Cortex-A77 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores. And this setup means CPU performance should be in the same ballpark as the Snapdragon 865, and theoretically better than the Kirin 990.
The Fire HD10 uses MediaTek's MT8183... and it is better then SD625 (which doesn't say much).
You also mentioned hard to find support for... what do you mean? I have never needed support for a CPU in my life???!!!
Stop being cheap and just buy an Ipad. It's worth it over this garbage.
Not saying I disagree, because the longevity of Apple's support is hard to beat and worth the extra cost. However, Android has its pluses, too. It allows more customization flexibility, supports SD cards and other external hardware more easily, and allows installation of apps from any source - great for those looking to use certain... *ahem* ...disreputable apps.
