Here are all the tools that are eligible to be free (select one):

1) Add the battery kit and the tool you want to your cart.
2) Set the item you want to Store Pickup
3) Set the item you don't want to Ship to home
4) Place Order
5) Immediately cancel order (has to be done within 45 minutes of placing)
The Ship to Home portion of the order will be cancelled, and since a Store Pickup order cannot be canceled you will pay the reduced price and have to pick up that tool in person at the store.
I use this trick all the time for Milwaukee deals, so I hope this helps folks out here. Keep in mind that if a local store has 0 stock of the item you want this wont work. So they could set local stock to 0 to prevent this from happening.
Edit: You can likely do this in reverse and ship the item you want to home and call the store to cancel the pickup, but I have never done it this way.

Either way, the individual items on the order should be itemized with the deal pricing so you should be able to return the item you do not want. Just a bigger hassle.
