I grabbed one of these when it went on sale back a few months ago. It does have some limitations, being heavily tied into the Google casting world (it does Bluetooth, too). However, if that's okay for you, this thing sounds amazing. I put it in my work-at-home office and I listen to it for multiple hours every single day. For the price, you will not find anything else comparable to this sound quality.

Citation 500 are $80 more at the moment, would you go for 300 or 500 or look at other brands like Sonos/Bose etc? Or maybe 20 Citation 300s? Any suggestions appreciated Smilie

Well the main reason I purchase Harman products is because in general the objective performance of their products are generally great. I own the Onyx 5 BT speaker. I also own the Harman Citation bar and sub. Great product for me thus far with no issues with casting music. That said the citation products are obviously more complex products and theres more room for issues. Unless youre really planning to lean into casting music/multi-room, Id recommend the onyx 5 or 6. They have a massive driver in them, absolutely surprising bass output and can easily fill up parts of most homes with sound.

Got one Citation 500 for living room and one 300 to connect with the same in bedroom. Hoping to connect them together in same living room when needed for parties etc. Might have gone with 2 Onyx as well but looks like the deal makes these much cheaper/better at the moment. They do have a 30 day return so jumped the gun, hoping I do not regret the decision when I wake up tomorrow Stick Out Tongue

I have one of these, I am very disappointed with the Google Assistant integration. Also, trying to use this as a group, it has a very serious latency compared to my other devices that my other devices do not have. So much so that the latency slider in the app cannot account for it.

Depends on the application. Citation 300 has better sound quality and output. However, it needs to be plugged in (no battery) and is not water resistant. So if you are looking for a portable option, Bose revolve is better. But if you are looking for a better sound quality for using at home, Citation is better.

If this had alexa integration I would have jumped on it, maybe with a future update they will add it
