I have a 65 GX on order from BB with with delivery and wall mount install set for 11/6. $2,599 with $100 gift card and free earbuds retailed at $249.99.

Am I a total sucker for not immediately canceling it and picking up the 65 CX instead for significantly cheaper?

I know it's the same TV minus ATSC 3.0, but I really fell for the flush mount and form factor of the GX.

Ugh I'm second guessing myself.

Buy the TV. Quit messing around for it to drop "another $100 before I bite". You've been talking about it forever. If you got it for $100 less in 4-months, that is 4-months you have not been able to enjoy this awesome TV. The price difference is negligible.
You know what Jared? I'm taking your advice brah. Been eyeing this set for a while. Looking for early BF scans and all of that.
I do believe it'll be the same price at Costco with a warranty tomorrow for the 65 inch. I've been going back and forth with this one and the 900h Sony. The Sony can be had almost 700 bucks cheaper for the 65, but finding one is an issue

Sams Club has it for 1849.00 plus 100.00 Sams Club Giftcard - plus more back if you use Honey and activate Honey Gold.. I just placed an order successfully but now it shows sold out - hopefully they restock some more online soon. It is free shipping if your a Sams Club Plus member. 4 year Square trade warranty is 129.99 extra but still lot cheaper than going directly through square trade.

I pulled the trigger on an LG OLED 65CX at Best Buy for $1849 after refreshing Costco for the past two hours. I'm ok missing out on the bonuses for the peace of mind of securing one plus with Amex I get an extra year of warranty. And not to mention Best Buy's insurance as an option that can cover burn in. Good luck everyone! TVs are so cheap today!

You won't regret it all. You'll be able to enjoy this over the holiday breaks coming up too, and through the winter, which could be invaluable depending on where you live.

But it could go lower! There's always lower. Is it worth a week at my job to pay for this? I could just invest or pay down my mortgage. What if they come out with 12 bit color and the 40 GB hdmi ports don't cut it? I'm dead inside.

Depends. Rtings noticed some differences in picture quality between their test GX and CX, but not sure if it's model-dependent or just unit variance.
If style and decor are secondary, then maybe GX is not worth it. To me, a clean look is essential for my modern, sleek decor and limited space, so flush mount flush mount flush mount.

All I'm waiting on is Target now... Hope they'll have the similar price drop (which they should have right?!).
