Metro is varying the terms of the promotion after the promotion has ended. On the 76th day after activation if you do not receive a text message to claim the $200 virtual MC, call the Promotions Dept (800-999-6389). If you do not get any satisfactory answers, file complaints with the following:
1. CEO of T-Mobile (mike.sievert@t-mobile.com)
2. BBB [bbb.org]
3. FTC [ftc.gov]
Here's the evidence to submit:

Metro has started sending out text to retrieve $200 prepaid VMC around 70 days after activation.

Just follow the steps:

1. Get your device and activate online

You can purchase a new phone from the Metro website or, if you are bringing your own device, purchase a SIM kit from the website. Your device must be activated online. Activations via store or customer care will not be eligible for this promotion.

2. Enjoy your service

Once you've been with us for 75 days, we'll send you a text message with instructions on how to claim your $200 virtual prepaid Mastercard.

3. Get your $200 virtual prepaid Mastercard

Follow the link in our text and claim your prepaid Mastercard within 30 days.

Order the sim card online and activate online, and you will get the text to claim the card after 75 days.

Is the $30 monthly plan eligible?
I called several days ago about multiple orders when their website was very buggy. After dealing with that, I specifically asked about whether the $30 plan was eligible for this offer. After putting me on hold for a few minutes, the CSR said yes, the $30 plan was eligible for the $200 Mastercard deal. Though it's online only, they definitely knew about the deal so that's good.

A few others have called and all received yes when asking about the Mastercard $200 deal and the $30 plan. Not much else we can do but wait 75 days after activation for their text.

UPDATE : 1/5/2021

Metro has started sending rebates..

BAD NEWS: 10/28 activations are only getting $100 rebates.. Talked to several reps and everyone is giving different "start dates" for this promotion.. some are saying 10/30, others are seeing 11/13 "in their system"
