this any better than the old SB46514-F6 that is the only vizio SB not on sale at BB right now?

DTS-X and eARC are the major improvement over SB46514.

depends on what the review says - if it says the rotating speakers seem janky and likely to break, Ill return it (OR I will keep it in the always upright position). If I think it sounds good but RTings doesnt, then Ill keep it especially for over 50% off. At full price, Id be more critical though

Only Best Buy has it right now... Walmart, Amazon don't carry it and so they have exclusivity at the moment and to discount it by $300 is awesome. They did the discount for the whole lineup and didn't exclude the new items. It's not just a gimmick and early reviews say it sounds awesome.

how do you like it? The Atmos experience noticeable?

Yeah i was so bummed. I waited a long time for this to be released. I used the atmos function maybe a few times a day. Lets be real atmos is only available on select titles. Its not for everyday channel surfing. The overall sound quality is awesome. Im thinking about getting another one to try out at this price point. Hopefully that was a defective unit and not a defective batch

yeah hopefully thats a one off, defective unit.

Atmos content is growing especially when netflix and now disney+ are pushing it - Im excited for Mandalorian Season 2 with Atmos.

How do you search for open boxes? On BB website of physically go to store and rummage through box display?

update your preferred store location and it will give you open box options (if there are any) right on the product page

Can't seem to find any reviews on this thing. Anyone know how it stacks up against the Samsung HW-Q90R? Also, how much does the sound bar by itself weigh?

it came out ~2 weeks ago. RTings is currently testing it [rtings.com]. I assume it will be on par with those other $1k Atmos soundbars but who knows. Early customer reviews have been good based on this reddit thread [reddit.com]. If youre in the market, buy now, test it, and return if needed
