I loved this product and used for beard trimming until my first blade became a dull and unusable in 2 weeks.

Chalked it up to a fluke. Then the next blade same thing. Every other trimmer on the market has self-sharpening blades.

This one is a perfect example of planned obsolescence.
Don't know how to describe, but the trimmer on this one isn't precise, it won't cut hair uniformly. Does a poor job as a trimmer. Shaver is good but don't expect a close shave, I like the shaver better than other foil shavers.
okay near the twig and berries?

Bought it during the target deal, im not a fan. Its a good razor but a horrible trimmer. Took me 5x as long time to trim my stubble beard.

I'm not all that familiar with electrics. Any particular razors on Amazon you'd recommend with self-sharpening?

This thing is awesome. I can't comment on the lifespan of the blade but I'm very happy w how it trims.

No, they make a face + body version with special guards for that which works pretty good. I'm happy enough with mine that I want a second one for travel and plan to scoop it up during the next sale.
