How does the trade-in process work?
Samsung will provide you a prepaid shipping label and instructions to send in your trade-in device. Close to the day your Samsung Buds ship (sometimes before, sometimes after), Samsung will send you an email with instructions, including how to get/print the shipping label. Your trade-in device must be shipped to Samsung within fifteen (15) days after the date you receive your Buds.
What should I include with the trade-in?
According to Samsung, "You will include the charger or charger case, if applicable."
Can I trade in any earbud/headphone?
Yes. Including the AKG earbuds that shipped with some Samsung phones, cheap generic earbuds, etc. Just make sure you select wired or wireless and the correct brand (chose other if not listed).
I placed my order. Can I change the earbuds I want to trade in?
Not directly. Chat with Samsung to see if they can adjust it for you.
(Edit) You should have picked "Other" for the type. If you're trading in anything more than a dollar store (or cheapo Amazon) pair of wired earbuds, you did it all wrong.
Can I do multiple trade-ins?
Yes. According to Samsung, "You may trade in only one (1) device under this Trade-In Program for each New Samsung Product you purchase."
