Plug it to a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) and never have to worry about it.
Have these, while they are working good, it's suck when you have an power outage. Even if your power went back up right away, the home base doesn't restart. So you have to manually unplug and replug the power cord. If you are not home, then you won't have camera view until you can do that.
Maybe you can put it on a smart plug to cycle the power

I am currently using Arlo, but interested in trying out the Eufy system. There are many threads on the forum discussing this system. others with more experience should chime in. Based on my limited research here and on the web, this seems to be an excellent alternative to Arlo. long lasting battery (up to 365 days) is very appealing.

the 2k pro version seems to have much better optical/video quality. At the same sales price as the regular 1080p eufycam 2, this seems to be very good buy.

Better than the competition. Check some YouTube comparisons and you'll see that it comes down to just a few. Eufy costs a bit more bc of the Homebase (home server), which we needed bc I didn't want everything going to a server in the cloud (taking up my poor internet bandwidth).

I think this should be a fp deal. Never saw this coming on sale since its rollout. And it's probably going to be around this price on bf. Been watching this for a while. I may pull the trigger. The floodlight is on sale at 140 also just so you know.

Edit: I did pull the trigger for a 2 cam system, an add on cam and a floodlight

If I am planning to get eufy doorbell which comes with homebase, should I just get two individual outdoor camera at 99 each, or go for kit for 249 and have extra homebase?
Any advantage of having extra homebase for $50?

No subscription. All data stored in home base. However they do offer cloud based subscription if you choose to.

Is it the same home base included with the battery-powered doorbell? I have this version and am just wondering if I can just buy the cameras. https://www.amazon.com/eufy-Secur...B084MFPRCP

I remember there being a Homebase 1 and Homebase 2 but cannot remember what is compatible with what.
