Deal is live now in store, YMMV online. In my region the online page said "limited stock, call store for availability". The store CSR told me they had eight in stock. When I checked at the store, they were not in the garage door opener aisle but on an endcap with some other BF items. There was a sign that said $78. While supplies last.

Perhaps some regions might have online purchase ability with free shipping or in-store pickup, but my region did not. YMMV

Went to purchase this, but there weren't any of this model in stock - only the newer model that's replacing it.

When I was there this morning, they were not in the garage door opener section. HD employees didn't know where they were even though they showed up in their computer as in stock for $78. They were calling other employees and looking all around and then my wife found them on an end cap section near the house entry doors next to some other BF stuff.....

I don't have experience with Genie or Chamberlain. Mine's an older Sears that still works. Bought the Genie for a family member because of good reviews, the Limited Lifetime Motor, 15-Year Rail, 5-Year Parts warranty and definitely because of the price: 100 bux off.....

Lots of HD deals seem to be starting early. I snagged a ladder and levels a couple of days ago. Batteries are live and there are a lot of items in the aisle of the store that are sale items.

I've read online that they are staggering the deals so they don't have a rush of people packing the stores or standing in line due to covid.

I have 5 Chamberlains...never a problem ever. Even have one with battery backup built-in, and the battery went 7 years before it had to be replaced.

Bought a Genie for a new garage to save a couple bucks... worse decision I ever made... nothing but issues (quits working & has to be reset, remote is spotty, etc).

I got one Genie 1.25 HP from Costco for $169.99. The garage has 2 doors. It seems I should two of these and return Costco's.

Ya that's what I've read about genie brand. I'm in no rush for another chamberlain deal.

Typical garage door has sections that are hinged. Some doors are a single solid panel.
