To get a car through all 3 loops, you have to smash the plastic launcher really hard and hit it square straight down so it doesn't jostle side-to-side from the impact. And that's with only one track section between the launcher and the first loop. I can only hit it right about half the time, and its nearly impossible for my son without mom/dad/brother helping.
Most of my boy's 20+ hot wheels either can't fit in the launcher, fly off the track immediately after being launched, or stall on the first loop due to the car's front lip dragging on the sharp incline. He only has 3 hot wheels (including the blue one that comes with the set) that can be launched straight straight enough to stay on the track and make it through all the loops.
If the track between the launcher and the loops is not perfectly straight and level, the car will fly off and smash into the columns hugging the track entrance. Not good on carpet, but good if you want to remove all the paint from the front bumper..
You can't remove the loop tracks from the frame and use them like normal track sections.
The loops aren't designed to be easily disassembled for storage, and it takes up a lot of space.

There's a wall hanging set we got last year that has been in storage constantly because my 5 year old cannot regularly get cars through it. My 7 year old daughter struggles, and I find very inconsistent launching without using the one single car that they put with the set.
I wish it was the good old days of wall clamps and ramps and track building instead of these one off sets.
Thanks for this! I have the Hot Wheels Track Builder Multi Loop Box and it has the same issues, but not as bad because the loops aren't as big.
My son is 3 and has the same frustration, I have to keep track and know which of his cars work well in this set so he doesn't get frustrated (I would say only about 15 of his 100 Hot Wheels cars work really well).
Not getting this for him, luckily I got some awesome Hot Wheels sets at my local thrift store so I'm set for the Holidays.
