the 5% code has ended but (wait to buy till black friday sale its dropping to 319.99)
Support confirmed I would get priced matched automaticly by the system when it changes for my purchase but your results may vary on that(seems newegg pulled the normal newegg and will not honor the price match by using a loop hole that the price dropped via code and not the actual price... gotta love newegg)

Here is the monitors page on the manufacture https://www.gigabyte.com/Monitor/M27Q#kf

Cool KVM feature but the button being behind the monitor is a killer for me. I prefer my keystroke method. Great looking monitor though.

its probably a feature that got passed up for on shooting for high hz and freesync support.from what I have seen FRC makes it limited to around 120hz. hopfully this freesync premium as they call it is freesync 2 so that hdr and it can be on at the same time but I guess I will find out when it arrives.(o sweet just looked it up guess this freesync premium pro is pretty much freesync 3) but ya if color accuracy is your goal 8bit+FRC or 10bit monitors may be more worthwhile then freesync and 170hz or 160hz monitors

Good points. Yea the reviews seem to indicate that this is not truly free sync premium. From looking at various monitors, I'm now eyeing the BenQ EX2780Q which is 144hz and 8bit+FRC.

8bit = 16.7 million colors
8bit+FRC= 1.07 billion colors

How is it listed as 125% rgb 92% DCP if it only has 16.7 million colors?

I bought this one below for $290 plus tax...is there much of a difference? This one worth the difference in price? Bought for PS5 and now Sony is saying no 1440p support 😞

Recently bought the Dell 27 inch S2721DGF which has 165hz (gsync + freesync compatible) and 8+FRC so the higher than 120hz refresh rate monitors with 8+FRC are out there... the price of this specific monitor is high right now but it's been on sale as low as 385 (I believe, check SD). Hopefully it'll be discounted for black friday by either Dell or Best Buy

i am really interested in the KVM feature so I could switch between work/personal PC. It's a bummer that there is only a button behind the monitor

The G version is pretty close this one just has a newer ips panel kvm and usb c. I saw that monitor when shopping around also and just decided the 30 bucks at the current price I would be the new version. And ya I heard about Sony not supporting 1440p...

If I'm interested in getting a monitor with similar specs but don't need the kvm feature is this still a good deal? Or will there be better deals than this on monitors without the kvm feature?

from what I have looked up 8bit+frc or the frame rate control it does to optical trickery with the frame rate to make more shades of currently displayed colors and has been hit or miss.at least when I looked it up monitors I saw enabling it would reduce the hz rate the monitor could display at. but I didnt look ultra deep about Frame rate control tech on alot of monitors. but I have seen that dell monitor and it seemed pretty nice.If you enable 10 bit color in the nvidia control panel on your monitor does it change the max hz rate you can select?

the m27q says it does 140% of sRGB some how so not sure if its 8bit+frc or some how its 8bit color is able to thit that number. but spec lists leave alot of clarity to be desired on monitors at times and will probably take someone with a display testing tool to really know if it has 8bit+frc

ya thats what im wondering also. there site just has it listed as 8bit but its possible with its srgb numbers that its also really 8bit+frc. but ya its at 140% rgb so some magic is going on for the 8bit to hit that

Seems like a good deal. Didn't costco have an upcoming deal similar?
