Ran across this and had to share. Not sure if other comparable sizes are discounted but just picked up a set for a family in need. Possible rebate through Goodyear: $75 off a set, $150 off if using Goodyear credit card. (Thank you "reactionary" for this info)

They're All-Terrain tires. All-Terrain tires are ALWAYS noisy cause of the aggressive tread patterns.
I test tires for a living and it is not that simple. Not all All-terrain tires are noisy. The noise is determined by a combination of tread design, tread depth, belt composition, sidewall design and rubber compound. In general Goodyear uses very good rubber compounds depending on the tire but even among the Goodyear Wrangler tire line the tread pattern varies. For example: for my Jeep I bought the Goodyear Wrangler TrailRunner AT. They are very quiet.
My Goodyear Wrangler Trailrunner AT is not the same as this deal's Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar. The only similarity is the tread pattern but the belts are different , it has Kevlar ( not that it's bad), the compound is different and even where it's made is different which changes everything. You have to do some homework read some reviews and determine for yourself if they will be noisy

Note: I noticed on Tirerack these are made in the US and China, so the rubber compounds will vary even for the same size tire. Unless you go to Walmart and see what is actually stamped on the tire will you know what you are getting.Confused

Agreed on the AT part but it's almost as if the kevlar layer almost amplifies it in a way.
