Breaking from Axios: Inside Trump's legal warfare

29,336 206 November 8, 2020 at 07:20 PM
So I didn't see this coming...

Trump has no plans to slink away with his tail between his legs. As Axios is now reporting in breaking news from 2 hours ago, the Trump campaign has been diligently organizing and planning an all out assault on what they see as an election stolen. Not only are they planning to file multiple lawsuits in multiple states contesting specific aspects of the election, they are planning to litigate the effort in the court of public opinion... with tried and true Trump style campaign rallies to educate America on the evidence and their effort to right a wrong.

This two prong strategy is a good one. It will help keep the process in front of America and transparent so the American people can make up their own minds, whilst simultaneously working the litigation effort through the courts.

From the article:

Quote :
President Trump plans to brandish obituaries of people who supposedly voted but are dead — plus hold campaign-style rallies — in an effort to prolong his fight against apparent insurmountable election results, four Trump advisers told me during a conference call this afternoon.

What we're hearing: Obits for those who cast ballots are part of the "specific pieces of evidence" aimed at bolstering the Trump team's so-far unsupported claims of widespread voter fraud and corruption that they say led to Joe Biden's victory.

Fueling the effort is the expected completion of vote counting this week, allowing Republicans to file for more recounts.
What's next: Team Trump is ready to announce specific recount teams in key states, and it plans to hold a series of Trump rallies focused on the litigation.

IMO, they must bring the concrete evidence they have to bear right away. People will stick with them on this as long as the evidence is firm, is easily explainable, and has the potential to result in a reversal of the election. If they don't nail this right out of the gate, it's going to fizzle quickly.

Buckle up. This has the potential to make the hanging chads of 2000 look like a disagreement between boy scouts!

You're going to need 3 states to flip in court.
Arizona=Biden
270
Pennsylvania=Biden
279
Georgia=Biden
275

Good Luck 😁

I'm not going to flip anything, I'm pointing to statistical analysis. My friend has PhD in statistics.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Yep, Benford's Law. The frequency distribution of the leading digit which should be around 11.1%. I had seen a tweet on this earlier today. The frequency distribution for Trump was as expected. Biden's was not. It had anomalies as one can easily see by comparing a Trump to Biden graph in your posts.

This statistical analysis was used to detect election fraud in several elections here in the US as well as overseas. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benford%27s_law

It seems like a good piece of evidence that can be combined with other evidence to make a case that some fraud occurred.

Thank you for posting this.

This is not the only combination, and from what I'm seeing, not even the likely combination of states. I think the administration is hoping to avoid needing PA at all since it's such a mess. They are looking at NV instead.

Yes, indeed concerning, but please take this to one of the Covid threads. This is for specifically discussing the multi-prong litigation strategy that the Trump campaign in moving forward on.

Nevada is only 6 Electoral Votes , so subtract Nevada and add Pennsylvania is 273. Are you fraud shopping?

This is pretty incredible. Since this story broke, bids for Trump in nearly every swing state have surged on the betting markets, including the market for who will win the election. Trump is up 6 points since this afternoon while Biden is down 3. Not huge, but there had been zero movement on many of these for several days while they simply waited for them to settle.

Fraud shopping or spaghetti tossing???
So far not a single shred of credible evidence in any one of the extraordinary claims the radical right has tossed out there.

Nope, are you?

GA + WI + NV + AZ = 275

These are the 4 states that have the slimmest of margins for Biden currently and are the most likely ones that could be flipped by ballots being invalidated.

Hell, AZ is still not even fully counted! May still flip Trump on it's own!
