Yeah. I think the question is, will that be the deadline, or the actual date we all receive these? I tend to think that they will ship in waves, with the hopes of fulfilling all these orders before the holiday.

If they actually target that date for everyone, and literally anything slows down the shipping process, a lot of folks will be telling their kids Santa got the virus and had to postpone xmas.

Anyone who ordered after launch get any kind of official delivery update / had there's delivered yet? I ordered two (one at midnight launch, one morning of 11/11); I know the 11/11 one was quoted by 12/23, but hoping my midnight launch order comes before then. In the email, that one was quoted a date of 11/23. Wonder if that's accurate, if not I'll be calling to get me another $50 Microsoft credit Smilie

And just throwing it out there, these are both for friends (I bought it for them cuz their trigger fingers are too slow, I'm not making any profit). I got mine at 8am launch day from target in store pickup Smilie

I got my order in on 11/11. Just got shipment last night and UPS tracking showing delivery on Tuesday.

My timeline for those anxious about getting updates:

- Ordered 11/11. Pending until last night.
- Estimated Delivery was 11/16, no confirmation email after order placed.
- Pending charge on CC, then after it went away, got another pending charge on CC
- Last night received shipping label from UPS. Microsoft account showing estimated delivery 12/23
- UPS tracking shows scheduled delivery 11/24

Okay after complaints of TMI I am editing to say that I was excited but it appears that so far the shipping of the order I placed on the 11th was just the add on controller tracking info but still no way to cancel the Xbox so maybe it will get a tracking number soon.

After all the hours on the phone and chat over those days November 11th thru 15th I figured that was as good as it was going to get and settled on hopefully getting it by December 23rd and appreciating the $50 credit for the hassle and let down. I realize that because we already have an Xbox the new Xbox offers a little more but unless we had the display i.e. 8k monitor or hdmi 2.1 TV I wouldn't be in a huge rush for the new Xbox series X as it would still have some limitations from my current TV. I understand all the specs are great but for me I guess the delay wouldn't miss out on anything major and I was trying to be understanding of all business issues these days. My order page showed pending with the ability to cancel and I had thought about cancelling the add on controller and re ordering it with the $50 credit but never did that. I checked again today and noticed that the option to change/cancel either the Xbox or extra controller was gone. I checked my credit card to see if the charges had been processed because the charge/hold on the 11th was for $259 after my MS rewards previous balance but today when I checked the charge being process which showed the 18th which was 2 days ago was only $159. My thinking is because I had used rewards balance for part of my purchase that when the final order was completed which is usually done during shipping they were able to use the $50 apology credit and another $50 that i had added during the week. If anyone else noticed they may have had the $50 apology credit deducted from total let us know too. For people that only used paypal or credit card I don't know if they would be able to use that credit because Rewards balance wouldn't have been a part of the original order and that is probably why customer service said it wouldn't be applied unless we cancelled and re ordered the Xbox which most of us wouldn't want to try and get the Xbox in the cart again as it was a pain. I haven't received my order yet but I feel there is some hope as my credit card shows pending charge now which was the 11th of a higher total and then changed to 18th of the new lower total. i've posted a couple times on this already. i AM grateful to get an order in just after midnight on the 10th with the prospect of getting it delivered by 12/23... but how are orders placed after that getting shipped before?

as someone else already said in the thread, truly is first world problem and in the end thankfully people aren't dying.

Done with this BS $50 credit journey. Have had various reps say one thing but do another. Blatantly outright lie claiming credit is only for those who purchased in September during first batch. My bonehead didn't get full screenshot of estimated delivery date so they wont honor it.
First was escalated to a manager's approval. Now they need full screenshot. I call it BS. They can have it. As long as my order ships, I am fully good with that outcome.
