Walmart deal doesn't have Backlit Keyboard, also less ram and not a touch screen plus the processor is bit slower compared to this 4700u.

While Walmart laptop has same display, same battery and ram can be upgraded.

Price difference is $371. I think Walmart $379 is a better deal for the price.

Agree with you though this one does have the built in Costco warranty of 2 years + 2 years if you use Costco credit card. Not sure if that's worth $371, but that plus some of the spec differences might sway someone.

Don't get carried away by the specs. The pavilion series has plastic body and is not durable. At this price, go for the Envy series or the Lenovo Yoga series.or even the Inspiron 7000 series. They come with metal finish, overall better build.

Not slick. There was a deal for Asus from Staples for similar spec for 600. Only difference I can recall is it was 8GB RAM.

Judging from the reviews, this isn't that good of a laptop. So many people are having basic problems with Zoom, webcam and connectivity.

Based on the specs in the deal area, looks like no PD on USB-C, either.

The 2nd year of the warranty is through Costco, not the computer manufacture. My experience is that Costco does not stand behind their warranty Purchased a laptop that had the casing separate. It has progressively gotten worse. Called the Costco warranty line and was on the phone for over an hour when we were disconnected. Had to follow up 2 additional days. They asked if we had purchased the extended warranty, even though it was still under the 2 year warranty. Since I had not, they refused any coverage. First and last electronic purchase from Costco.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience, I had 3 experience in last 2 years and all went smooth.
1. New iPad stopped charging after 4 months...they had replaced it with no issues
2. Chromebook died after 2 years - I have got the refund, and I purchased a new one
3. HP laptop Wifi stopped working after 1 year, they gave me an option, I picked up the same model. I really did not want to return it, I had called HP, and HP support was SUPER BAD. I said, there might be a firmware fix, but instead helping, they had suggested to go and get a replacement from Costco.

Anyone have problems with zoom meetings? Crashing or freezing up or speakers going bonkers?
