where does it state that it uses a 260 watt engine?
Page 19 of the Pure One X Series instruction manual on the website lists a rated power of 260W. I got the dustbin capacity on the same page.

Thanks...
I could not find this info...but it sounds weird cause they use a 350 Watt engine with their A10 and 45o watt for their A11 and A12.

I would have to think it is a typo. I don't think I have seen a 260 watt engine on any of their products.

It's possible. Also possible that I'm looking at the wrong submodel or something. It was a quick browse. On the other hand, this seems much cheaper than their other models, which are similar in most ways, so there must be some catch. As a sanity check fo you or anyone else interested:

https://us.tineco.com/support/instruction-manual
Then scroll down and click on "PURE ONE X Series Instruction Manual EN", then navigate to page 19.

I see what you mean... and I looked at other manuals and they are all rated correctly.

The Pure One S11 and S12 get AMAZING reviews. Obviously, this is not like those in power.

I would stay away.

p.s. I just purchased the A11 Hero for $179, this is the one with a 450 watt engine. I think this could be one of the best deals around. But it seems this deal lasted for only a few hours.

I believe this deal... the motor is only 260 watts but it has that nice digital display (who cares). Basically, you should wait for the A11 Hero deal for $179 and get the Tineco with a 450 watt engine and don't buy this one with a 260 watt engine.

Yeah, I got the same or similar deal on the Hero. I thought I'd want the second battery, but it turns out the only thing I miss is the soft roller. Still worth it since I can upgrade that bit whenever.

Dyson motors are well balanced, quiet and smooth but the rest of the vacuum unit assembly feels cheap , poorly fit together and pathetically designed for long term use and maintenance if you are smart enough to see beyond cosmetic appeal. I've owned 2 in the last 10 years. I'd pick even a hoover or bissel over overpriced Dyson. Dyson is the Apple of vacuums, only idiots think they are premium.
So what your saying is Android is better than iOS? Nah I don't think so! LMAO!

I'm confused and hoping someone can help clarify something in terms of power ratings om these vacs. If you look at the A11 Hero page as an example, https://us.tineco.com/products/a11-hero.html, the top of the page states "450w Strong Power" whereas lower on the page it states "120W Impressive Suction Power." What are the different ratings they're using?

Cheap? Ummm, no. I used to sell and repair vacuums and I have at least 10 vacuums at home, along with several other carpet cleaning tools. Dyson is by far the brand that I would recommend in most markets. Shark is also pretty good, and Eureka has some select models that do really well. I own one Dyson and looking to add one more with a longer battery life which is why I've been watching vacuum deals.
Do you like Shark cordless vacs? I've been eyeing up the new Vertex DuoClean PowerFins Cordless Stick Vacuum (Model IZ462H) which will be $249.99 less 15% Off w/Coupon and come with $60 Kohl's Cash starting 11/22. I saw one in a store yesterday on display (none for sale though) and it seemed kind of cheaply made. The joint where it folds in half had a lot of flex and none of the buttons to remove the battery or take it apart seemed to be working and, combined with what seemed like a lot of weight, had me wondering if it were the real thing or just some non-working model.

I have an Ionflex with duoclean. I think it's great for hard floors, but I prefer my Dyson on carpet. The Sharks are also very easy to do maintenance on, and include a scraper tool that is stored by the brush roll that makes them easy to clean. So if you have hard floors, I think the Shark cordless is fine. If you have mostly carpet, I wouldn't say the Shark is bad, but I would recommended it. I think some of the corded versions do well on carpet though.

I can't say for sure, but watts are a general measure of work, not only with respect to electricity. Vacuums can be rated for suction in terms of the amount of air moved per unit time -- do a web search for "air watt". Tineco may be using this when referring to suction power.

I got this deal... but returned it (never opened it up) and purchased the A11 Hero for $179.00. I wanted the stronger engine.
